Learning Outcomes
- To list down the rules, regulations, health and safety of tourists
- To define and understand the tourism industry
- To apply tourist guides skills including presentation and communication skills
- To demonstrate knowledge of a country or certain city hence enhance the experience of tourists
- Course Duration
- To follow the rules and regulations to ensure the safety of tourists especially directing to first aid box and fire extinguisher.
- To ensure all safety requirements are in place.
- To underline the basic first aid steps and accidents handling and fire extinguishing.
- To differentiate between trips & tours, airline operations, cruise ships industry.
- To realize the challenges in tourism and its management.
- To be able to provide tourist information at any suitable front-line desk.
- To verbally and on writing be able to explain the travel and tourism industry and its components and its roles.
- To guide tourists with proper terminology.
- To use proper directions & guiding instructions, the background of local tourist attractions.
- To ensure the safety of the tourists.
- To maintain the hospitality of a tourist guide
- To extend the confidence and apply guiding skills.

- To demonstrate historical information about 1 historical monument or fort or place in a city or a country.
- To demonstrate knowledge of a country or a city.
