Healthcare courses are ever-increasing in popularity since there is a constant and ever-growing demand for employees in this field. One of these needs is healthcare assistance which is only a supportive role and not medical.
Healthcare assistants work together within all health facilities and their professionals to ensure patients (customers) care in many aspects. They collaborate with other professionals nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, dietitians, dentists, pharmacists, and physicians, to help manage extra care that is given for the patients.
Their tasks are not medical, but, they can assist in food and drinks that are advised by dieticians, moving around the ward, ensuring the health environment is motivating, and any other need patients or health care professionals have.
